I’ve known Lyndsay for over 3 years now and that blows my mind. Our paths first crossed when she did an Instagram live about imposter syndrome with a copywriter I followed. I was new to the luxury wedding industry and 100% feeling like a fraud, so I HAD to watch that IG live conversation. What I didn’t expect was to walk away feeling so connected to Lyndsay and her approach to mindset coaching that I set the intention of joining one of her programs as soon as I possibly could.

Fast forward a few years and I’ve been her client a handful of times and she gets to be one of mine! When I was her client and contemplating my switch to brand photography last summer, Lyndsay told me she’d love to book me for her mindset coach brand photos. This year, we finally made that a reality!

Embody You: Your Mindset Coach for Life, Business, and Stress

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me share a few things from Lyndsay’s account. She makes mindset work so tangible with bite-sized advice, accessible workshops, and thorough courses to help with everything from sleep to career alignment. Lyndsay is a one-stop-shop for all things mindset. With her programs, you get everything from a pocket bestie (my favorite description of her) to group calls with an incredible community of female entrepreneurs.

Planning Brand Photos for a Mindset Coach

The biggest challenge in planning Lyndsay’s brand photos was the fact that her business is so multi-faceted and she needs a LOT of content. Because of this, she selected my VIP Package, which got her a full-day session with lots of options for session locations and outfits.

When we had our session planning meeting, we talked about what a typical week looks like for her. She’s got client check-ins, behind-the-scenes tasks, meditating, and reading. Plus there’s usually a trip to the beach with her husband and pup, walking around the park in her neighborhood, and snuggles on the couch while catching up on her favorite Bravo shows.

Even though we had a full day for these mindset coach brand photos, we got started at sunrise! In order to incorporate some of Lyndsay’s favorite outdoor pastimes, we needed to beat the July heat. We started at the beach and her neighborhood park before heading to her home to get the rest of her images!

My Favorite Part of Lyndsay’s Mindset Coach Brand Photos

I’m starting to sound like a broken record here because every time there’s a pet involved in a session, they are my favorite part! Norman is such a sweet pup and so animated! Throughout Lyndsay’s brand photo session, he would always find a way to be in the frame. It works out though because he’s a big part of Lyndsay’s brand!

Aside from that I think my favorite part was the amazing variety of brand photos. I had over 1,500 images to cull when I got home from this session! It was tough but I finally got it down to a reasonable amount of images where Lyndsay will be able to post about 3 times a week for a full year without repeating any images! Content creation made easy! (Well, easier…haha)
