Basic Invite - Invitations, Announcements, and Photo Cards

When I came across Basic Invite I was instantly excited. As a lover of flat lays and someone who never felt like other stationary places had what I wanted, I was thrilled to be checking out a new option to design holiday cards and to share with brides looking for the perfect invitation suite. As I started poking around their website, I realized there are SO many things I love about Basic Invite, so I wanted to share them with you today. This way, when you've got your Christmas card photos ready to roll, you know exactly where to go to design and print your cards!

Custom Samples?!

An actual dream come true! Basic Invite is one of the few companies that offers customizable samples so you can see your invitations and cards in person before you commit to a design. This way you can see the paper quality and how it will print in real life and make sure the card is perfect, then order, rather than ordering hundreds and hating them. I look advantage of this feature to order a few samples to photograph for this post since I don't have my Christmas card photos done yet (plus I just love to get creative with detail photos).

(Almost) Unlimited Colors

This feature was a game-changer and what really set Basic Invite apart from other stationary companies in my mind. Not only does Basic Invite have an overwhelming number of colors to choose from (over 180), but you can also change every single part of a design to fit the color scheme you want! Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card and see the changes in real time with instant previews.

Envelopes Galore

In addition to the plethora of colors when you design holiday cards or wedding invitations, you can also coordinate the color of your envelopes to match your invites and cards because Basic Invite has more than 40 different envelope colors to choose from. PLUS, all of their envelopes are peel and stick - no need to lick your envelopes to seal!

Address Capturing Service

I love this next feature because collecting addresses was probably my least favorite part of sending out my wedding invitations... Basic Invite will provide you with a link you can share on social media that allows friends and family to type their address in. Then it is saved to your account, so when you are ready to print your holiday cards or wedding invitations, you can select recipient address printing and have it all done for you - FOR FREE!

Other Things I Love About Basic Invite

1) Foil: Foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold! And you can choose raised or flat foil for your design...I'm leaning toward a rose gold design with my holiday cards but I'm pretty sure Kyle will dislike it haha.

2) A free wedding planner: Since I ordered so many wedding invitation samples, I was gifted a little wedding planner! As someone who loves planners for all occasions and in all shapes and sizes, I was super excited to find that in the box with my cards. Too bad I won't be planning a wedding any time soon!

3) Discount code: Right now, Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code 15FF51 through the end of September, so when you have your Christmas card photos ready to go and you head there to design holiday cards, you can get your whole order for 15% off!

Note: This post was a paid partnership with Basic Invite, but you'll never find me recommending products I don't absolutely love! If I'm recommending it to you, I've tried it out myself and truly enjoyed it, plus I'll always tell you my full thoughts, positive or negative - there just weren't any negatives this time around!
