Fall Engagement Photos at Crim Dell Bridge, Williamsburg, VA
What can I say about Olivia and Andrew that isn't completely evident in the cover photo for this blog post?! Okay, you got me, there's plenty I can say...and will say, because as important as your photos are to me, knowing and sharing your story is just as important, if not more.
I met Olivia and Andrew through my wedding planner friend, Abaigeal of Abaigeal & Co. Events! Abaigeal and I worked a wedding together in June of 2023 and instantly had a connection. I love sharing wedding galleries with her and seeing how incredibly excited she is to support their couples as she plans their big day. I was absolutely flattered when Abaigeal sent me a referral for not just a client, but her sister-in-law! I was thrilled to meet with Olivia and Andrew, even though we had to make it virtual, and learn about their wedding celebration for December of 2023. I was even more thrilled when they chose me to be their wedding photographer!
Olivia and Andrew are based in Fredericksburg, VA, but they love Williamsburg, so they made the journey down to Hampton Roads for fall engagement photos at Crim Dell Bridge and Colonial Williamsburg! Plus, Olivia was able to do her wedding makeup trial with Noelle at Blush757!
Engagement Photos in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia
Crim Dell Bridge is the best hidden gem on the Hampton Roads Peninsula - at least in my opinion! Nestled in the heart of the William & Mary campus, it is a gorgeous wooden bridge with a sweet story and incredible fall foliage for photos. There's also a wooded path along a stream that was absolutely dreamy and covered in fall leaves!
We spent about an hour taking photos at Crim Dell Bridge before we moved over to the Colonial Williamsburg area. Andrew proposed to Olivia in front of the Governor's Palace, so taking photos here was incredibly meaningful for them, especially when Andrew got down on one knee and reenacted his proposal - speech and all - bringing Olivia to joyful, loving tears in the middle of their engagement photos.
We truly exhausted every ounce of daylight for Olivia and Andrew's engagement photos in Colonial Williamsburg - to the point where the last photo from their session was taken by the light of a street lamp so they could pay tribute to their pup, Biscuit! Congratulations on your engagement, Olivia and Andrew! I cannot wait to celebrate your wedding day so very soon!
